Rural Alesga Hotel is placed in San Salvador de Alesga, inside Valdesampedro's valley, one of the three that, together with that of Valdesantibáñez and Valdecarzana, form Teverga's Asturian council.
In his rough geography Teverga emphasize the rock Sobia with a few impressive vertical walls of limestone and the Camín Real of the Port of the Mesa. The whole Teverga's municipality integrates the Nature reserve Ubiñas – La Mesa.
Teverga is a former mining and agricultural council, nowadays it bases his economy on the extensive ranching of mountain and on the emergent cultural and rural tourism, especially with the recent inauguration of the Park of the Prehistory.
